Cough

For children's cough, grandmas give two tea-spoons of basil leaf/tulsi juice with one spoon of honey. It works excellent.

Some people take grape juice and honey too. It is also good for dry cough.

Hot milk with honey is also useful in cough problems.

You can take ginger tea which is also a useful home remedy for cough.

Cold

Lemon juice is good for any cold because it contains vitamin C. Vitamin C increases body resistance. Lemon juice, hot water and honey together work well in healing common cold.

Toothache

In normal toothache, keep a clove in your mouth. Place it in between the aching teeth and suck on it. You can even apply clove oil on the affected tooth. [Lesson – 10(E)]

শিশুদের কাশি হলে দাদিরা এক চামচ মধুর সঙ্গে দুই চা-চামচ পুদিনা পাতা বা তুলসির রস দেন। এটা দারুণ কাজ করে।

ঠাণ্ডা
লেবুর রস যে কোনো ঠাণ্ডার জন্য ভালো কারণ এটিতে ভিটামিন সি আছে। ভিটামিন সি শরীরের প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি করে। লেবুর রস, গরম পানি এবং মধু একত্রে সাধারণ সর্দি-কাশি উপশমে ভালো কাজ করে।

দাঁতব্যথা
সাধারণ দাঁত ব্যথায় তোমার মুখের ভেতর একটি লবঙ্গ রাখ। ব্যথা হওয়া দাঁতের মাঝে এটি রাখ এবং চুষে খাও। তুমি আক্রান্ত দাঁতের উপর লবঙ্গ তেলও প্রয়োগ করতে পার।

Read the following text carefully and answer the questions.

Our National Memorial is situated at Savar. It is a symbol of the nation's respect for the martyrs of the War of Liberation. It stands 150 feet tall. It stands on a base measuring 130 feet wide. There is actually a series of 7 towers that rise by stages to a height of 150 feet. The foundation was laid on the first anniversary of the Victory Day. There is actually a plan to build a huge complex in several phases. The entire complex will cover an area of 126 acres. The plan of this complex includes a mosque, a library and a museum. The relics of the liberation war will be kept in the museum.
