Paragraph: A Visit to a Historical Place

A Visit to a Historical Place

Man is not
satisfied with what he has seen and known. A visit to a place of historical
interest is really interesting and attractive. Dhaka is a place of historical
interest. During the last summer vacation, I along with some of my friends,
decided to go to Savar to see the National Memorial. Accordingly  we fixed a date and started our journey from
Gabtali to Savar at 10 a.m. by bus. We reached at the National Memorial just
after 45 minute. Actually the National Memorial at Savar is the symbol of the
nation’s respect for the martyrs of the war of liberation. It contains the
history of our independence. It is built with concrete, but made of blood. It
stands 150 feet tall. There is actually a series of 7 towers that rise by
stages to a height of 150 feet. The foundation was laid on the first
anniversary of the victory day. Reaching there we felt a great respect to the
freedom fighters who sacrificed their valuable lives for us. We took some
snaps  taking the view of the memorial.
However, we visited the place and the surrounding area for about an hour. The
most moving sight of the complex is the several graves of the martyred freedom
fighters just close to the tower. However, we left the place paying our glowing
tribute to the freedom fighters. Through this visit we experienced a lot.

একটি ঐতিহাসিক স্থান পরিদর্শন

মানুষ যা দেখেছে এবং জেনেছে তাতে সন্তুষ্ট নয়।
ঐতিহাসিক আগ্রহের একটি স্থান পরিদর্শন সত্যিই আকর্ষণীয় এবং আকর্ষণীয়। ঢাকা ঐতিহাসিক
আগ্রহের জায়গা। গত গ্রীষ্মের ছুটিতে আমি আমার কয়েকজন বন্ধুকে নিয়ে সাভারে জাতীয়
স্মৃতিসৌধ দেখতে যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলাম। সেই অনুযায়ী আমরা একটি তারিখ ঠিক করে
সকাল ১০টায় বাসে করে গাবতলী থেকে সাভারের উদ্দেশ্যে যাত্রা শুরু করি। আমরা 45 মিনিট পর জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌধে পৌঁছে গেলাম। আসলে
সাভারে জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌধ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের শহীদদের প্রতি জাতির শ্রদ্ধার প্রতীক। এতে রয়েছে
আমাদের স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাস। এটি কংক্রিট দিয়ে তৈরি, তবে রক্ত ​​দিয়ে তৈরি। এটি 150 ফুট লম্বা। এখানে আসলে 7 টাওয়ারের একটি সিরিজ রয়েছে যা ধাপে ধাপে 150 ফুট উচ্চতায় উঠে যায়। বিজয় দিবসের প্রথম বার্ষিকীতে
ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করা হয়। সেখানে পৌঁছে আমরা আমাদের জন্য তাদের মূল্যবান জীবন
উৎসর্গকারী মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা অনুভব করি। আমরা স্মৃতিসৌধের দৃশ্য
গ্রহণ করে কিছু ছবি নিলাম। যাইহোক, আমরা প্রায় এক ঘন্টা
জায়গা এবং আশেপাশের এলাকা পরিদর্শন করেছি। কমপ্লেক্সের সবচেয়ে চমকপ্রদ দৃশ্য হল টাওয়ারের
একেবারে কাছেই শহীদ মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের কবর। যাইহোক, আমরা মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের প্রতি আমাদের প্রদীপ্ত শ্রদ্ধা
নিবেদন করে স্থান ত্যাগ করি। এই সফরের মাধ্যমে আমরা অনেক অভিজ্ঞতা লাভ করেছি।
