Your Favourite Game

Cricket is my
favourite game. I like it because it gives me recreation and keeps my body fit.
The game of cricket needs two teams, each having eleven players. Two umpires
conduct the game and sometimes, a third umpire is called to solve confusion .
At the beginning of the match a toss is conducted to select a fielding group
and a batting group. A batsman may be bowled out, run out, stumped out or
caught out. When a bowler bowls, a batsman hits the ball away and runs to the
opposite wicket. The batsman of the other side runs to his place. Thus one run
is scored. If the ball crosses the boundary line, four runs are made. If it
flies over the boundary line, six runs 
are scored. If a batsman is out, another player takes his place. After
interval the fielding group comes to bat and the batting group goes to field.
The team which scores more runs wins the game. The duration of the game is
guided by the fall of wicket or completion of the over. Cricket is a very
popular game all over the world. It teaches us patience and discipline.

ক্রিকেট আমার প্রিয় খেলা। আমি এটি পছন্দ করি কারণ
এটি আমাকে বিনোদন দেয় এবং আমার শরীরকে ফিট রাখে। ক্রিকেট খেলার জন্য দুটি দলের প্রয়োজন,
প্রতিটিতে এগারো জন খেলোয়াড়
থাকে। দু'জন আম্পায়ার খেলা
পরিচালনা করেন এবং কখনও কখনও, বিভ্রান্তি সমাধানের
জন্য তৃতীয় আম্পায়ারকে ডাকা হয়। ম্যাচের শুরুতে একটি ফিল্ডিং গ্রুপ এবং একটি ব্যাটিং
গ্রুপ নির্বাচন করার জন্য একটি টস পরিচালিত হয়। একজন ব্যাটসম্যান বোল্ড আউট,
রান আউট, স্টাম্প আউট বা ক্যাচ আউট হতে পারে। যখন একজন বোলার
বল করে, তখন একজন ব্যাটসম্যান বলটি
দূরে মারেন এবং বিপরীত উইকেটে চলে যান। ওপারের ব্যাটসম্যান তার জায়গায় দৌড়ে যায়।
এভাবে এক রান হয়। বল বাউন্ডারি লাইন অতিক্রম করলে চার রান হয়। বাউন্ডারি লাইনের ওপর
দিয়ে উড়ে গেলে ছয় রান হয়। একজন ব্যাটসম্যান আউট হলে তার জায়গা নেয় অন্য একজন
খেলোয়াড়। বিরতির পর ফিল্ডিং গ্রুপ ব্যাট করতে আসে এবং ব্যাটিং গ্রুপ মাঠে নামে। যে
দল বেশি রান করবে সেই খেলায় জয়ী হবে। খেলার সময়কাল উইকেট পতন বা ওভার শেষ হওয়ার
দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়। সারা বিশ্বে ক্রিকেট খুবই জনপ্রিয় খেলা। এটি আমাদের ধৈর্য এবং
শৃঙ্খলা শেখায়।
