Read the text carefully and answer questions. 

Bulbul collects rubbish from the Sankar area in Dhaka. Every morning, he wakes up at 5 o'clock and walks along the streets of Sankar to collect rubbish. People of Sankar put their rubbish in plastic bins and leave them in front of their houses. Bulbul walks from door to door to collect them. Sometimes the bins are very dirty and they smell bad. But Bulbul does not mind. He takes out everything from the bins and puts them in his van. He believes that all jobs are important. He works hard every day to keep this area clean.

Last month Bulbul was sick for two days. So, he could not come to collect the rubbish. The people of Sankar were in great trouble. They got piles of rubbish waiting in front of their houses. The whole area became dirty and unhygienic. When Bulbul got well, he came back to Sankar. He collected everything from all the bins. Bulbul does not want to fall sick again. He realizes, if he stops working even for a few days only, the whole area will turn into a big dustbin. [Lesson — 5(B)]

বঙ্গানুবাদ :  বুলবুল ঢাকার শংকর এলাকা থেকে ময়লা আবর্জনা সংগ্রহ করে। প্রতিদিন সকালে সে ৫টায় ঘুম থেকে ওঠে এবং শংকর এলাকার রাস্তায় হেঁটে হেঁটে আবর্জনা সংগ্রহ করে। শংকরের লোকজন তাদের আবর্জনা একটা প্লাস্টিকের পাত্রে ভরে এবং তাদের বাড়ির সামনে রাখে। বুলবুল সেগুলো দ্বারে দ্বারে গিয়ে সংগ্রহ করে। অনেক সময় আবর্জনার পাত্রগুলো খুব নোংরা হয় এবং দুর্গন্ধ ছড়ায়। কিন্তু বুলবুল কিছু মনে করে না। সে সমস্ত আবর্জনা উঠায় এবং সেগুলো তার ভ্যানের ভেতর রাখে। সে বিশ্বাস করে প্রতিটা কাজই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। সে এই এলাকাটা পরিষ্কার রাখতে প্রতিদিন কঠোর পরিশ্রম করে।

গত মাসে বুলবুল দুই দিনের জন্য অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়ে। তাই সে আবর্জনা সংগ্রহ করতে আসতে পারেনি। শংকর এলাকার লোকজন খুব সমস্যার মধ্যে ছিল। তাদের বাড়ির সামনে আবর্জনার স্তূপ ফেলার অপেক্ষায় জমে যায়। পুরো এলাকা খুবই নোংরা ও অস্বাস্থ্যকর হয়ে পড়ে। যখন বুলবুল সুস্থ হয়ে ওঠে, সে আবার শংকরে ফিরে আসে। সে প্রতিটি আবর্জনার পাত্র থেকে সমস্ত আবর্জনা সংগ্রহ করে। বুলবুল আবার অসুস্থ হতে চায় না। সে বুঝতে পারে যে যদি সে অল্প কিছুদিনের জন্যও কাজ না করে তাহলে পুরো এলাকা একটা বড় আবর্জনার ঝুড়িতে পরিণত হবে।

Sincerity is the root of all success. One can go a long way in life if one does things with sincerity. The rich people are sincere to their work and they are capable of making anything a success. The great men are also sincere because they know that sincerity is the key-stone to success. Those who do not follow the rules of sincerity can never go a long way in the world. The poor people are not often sincere and they lag behind. If they do not know the benefit of sincerity, they cannot make a good use of it.

Sincerity is the tonic to any work because it helps the work to be done properly. If any work is not done properly, one will never get good output from it. So we should be sincere in every walk of life. Sincerity does not mean only to do any work properly, it also means dutifulness, honesty and modesty. The people of our country are not still aware of the importance of sincerity. As a result, they hardly get good output from their work, and they blame their lot.

অনুবাদ:

নিষ্ঠাই সকল সফলতার মূল। কেউ যদি নিষ্ঠার সাথে কাজ করে তাহলে সে জীবনে অনেক দূর যেতে পারে। ধনী লোকেরা তাদের কাজে নিষ্ঠাবান এবং তারা যে কোনো কিছুকে সফল করতে সক্ষম। মহৎ ব্যক্তিরাও নিষ্ঠাবান কারণ তারা জানেন যে, নিষ্ঠাই সফলতার চাবিকাঠি। যারা নিষ্ঠাবান হওয়ার নিয়মকানুনগুলো মেনে চলে না তারা কখনো পার্থিব জীবনে বেশি দূর যেতে পারে না। দরিদ্র লোকেরা প্রায়ই নিষ্ঠাবান থাকে না এবং তারা পিছিয়ে পড়ে। তারা যদি নিষ্ঠাবান হওয়ার সুফল না জানে তাহলে তারা এটির সঠিক ব্যবহার করতে পারবে না।

নিষ্ঠা যে কোনো কাজের টনিক কারণ এটি কাজটিকে সঠিকভাবে সম্পাদিত হতে সাহায্য করে। যদি কোনো কাজ সঠিকভাবে সম্পাদিত না হয়, কেউ এ থেকে ভালো ফল পাবে না। তাই আমাদের জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে নিষ্ঠাবান হওয়া উচিত। নিষ্ঠা বলতে শুধু কোনো কাজ সঠিকভাবে সম্পাদন করাকে বোঝায় না, এটি কর্তব্যপরায়ণতা, সততা এবং ভদ্রতাকেও বোঝায়। আমাদের দেশের লোকজন এখনও নিষ্ঠাবান হওয়ার গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন নয়। ফলে তারা কদাচিৎ তাদের কাজের সুফল পায় এবং তারা তাদের ভাগ্যকে দোষারোপ করে।
