Shusong Durgapur is located under Netrokona district about 170 km north from Dhaka. It's not only blessed with alluring natural beauty, but also rich in vibrant ethnic culture. There are many ethnic groups like Hajong, Garo, Achik and Mandi living here. The Birishiri Tribal Cultural Academy is located at Durgapur. It is a centre for various cultural and educational activities of different tribes.

The main attraction of Birishiri is the ceramic hill of Durgapur and the charming landscape along the Someshwari River. The river changes its colour as the seasons change. Among other attractions are the palace of the Susang King, the Dasha Busha Temple, Orange Gardens, Shal forests and the Ramakrishna and Loknath Baba Temples.

The best way to get to Birishiri is by road from Dhaka. You can find direct bus to Birishiri from Mohakhali bus stand, Dhaka. It usually takes 5 to 6 hours to get there. When you are there, you can go around the town by rickshaws. The rickshaw pullers know all the places very well. [Lesson —13(B)]

বিরিসিরির প্রধান আকর্ষণ হচ্ছে দুর্গাপুরের চিনামাটির পাহাড় এবং সোমেশ্বরী নদীর পাশের অপরূপ বিস্তৃত ভূখণ্ড। ঋতু পরিবর্তনের সাথে সাথে এই নদীর রঙেও পরিবর্তন হয়। অন্যান্য আকর্ষণের মধ্যে রয়েছে সুসং রাজার রাজপ্রাসাদ, দশ ভুজার মন্দির, কমলার বাগান, শালবন, রামকৃষ্ণ এবং লোকনাথ বাবার মন্দির।

ঢাকা থেকে বিরিসিরি যাবার সবচেয়ে সহজ রাস্তা হচ্ছে সড়কপথ। তুমি ঢাকার মহাখালী বাস স্ট্যান্ড থেকে সরাসরি বিরিসিরির বাস পাবে। ওখানে যেতে সাধারণত ৫ থেকে ৬ ঘণ্টা সময় লাগে। যখন তুমি সেখানে যাবে, তুমি পুরো শহর রিকশায় বেড়াতে পারবে। রিকশাওয়ালারা সব জায়গা খুব ভালো করে চেনে।

Read the following text carefully and answer the questions.

Born on December 9, 1608 in London, Milton spent most of his boyhood in this city. At the age of seventeen he went to Cambridge for study and spent there seven years. He took M.A. from that university. Leaving Cambridge, when he was twenty three, Milton entered no profession and spent six years at Horton in unprofessional study. In 1636 he started his foreign tour which helped in moulding his cultured and poetic mind. In the year 1640, Milton married Mary Powell, a young girl of seventeen. His wife died in 1652 leaving him with three daughters. He married a second wife in 1656 but two years later she also died.

Of all his poems "Paradise Lost" is the greatest poems. He finished the composition in 1664 which was published three years later. His old age was, nevertheless, healthful and he had an easy death on November 8, 1674.

১৬০৮ সালের ডিসেম্বর মাসের ৯ তারিখে লন্ডনে জন্মগ্রহণ করে মিল্টন তার বাল্যকালের অধিকাংশ সময় এই শহরে কাটিয়েছেন। সতের বছর বয়সে তিনি পড়াশোনা করার জন্য ক্যামব্রিজে গিয়েছিলেন এবং সেখানে সাত বছর অতিবাহিত করেছিলেন। তিনি ঐ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে এমএ পাস করেন। যখন তার বয়স ২৩ বছর তখন মিল্টন ক্যামব্রিজ ছেড়ে দেন, তিনি কোনো পেশায় যোগ দেননি এবং হরটনে ৬ বছর অপেশাদারি শিক্ষা নেন। ১৬৩৬ সালে তিনি তার বিদেশ ভ্রমণ শুরু করেন যেটি তাকে তার সাংস্কৃতিক এবং কাব্যিক মন গড়ে তুলতে সাহায্য করেছিল। ১৬৪০ সালে মিল্টন ১৭ বছরের এক যুবতি বালিকা মেরি পাওয়েলকে বিবাহ করেন। তার স্ত্রী ১৬৫২ সালে তাকে এবং তার তিন কন্যা রেখে মারা যান। তিনি ১৬৫৬ সালে দ্বিতীয় স্ত্রীকে বিবাহ করেন কিন্তু দুই বছর পরে তিনিও মারা যান।

তার সব কবিতার মধ্যে “প্যারাডাইস লস্ট” হচ্ছে মহত্তম কাব্যগ্রন্থ। তিনি ১৬৬৪ সালে এটি রচনা শেষ করেন যেটি তিন বছর পরে প্রকাশিত হয়। তার বয়স বেশি হওয়া সত্তে¡ও তিনি স্বাস্থ্যবান ছিলেন এবং তিনি ১৬৭৪ সালের ৮ নভেম্বর এক স্বাভাবিক মৃত্যুবরণ করেন।
