Imagine, a big canal runs along your village. People have to cross it everyday but they face many problems. Only construction of a bridge can solve the problem. Now, write an application to the Chairman of your Union Council for the construction of a bridge over the canal in your locality. 

(মনে কর, তোমার গ্রামের ভেতর দিয়ে একটি বড় খাল গিয়েছে। লোকজন প্রতিদিন এটি অতিক্রম করতে অনেক সমস্যায় সম্মুখীন হয়। কেবল একটি সেতু নির্মাণই এ সমস্যার সমাধান করতে পারে। এখন, তোমার এলাকার খালের উপর একটি সেতু নির্মাণের জন্য ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যানের নিকট একটি দরখাস্ত লেখ।)

Subject: Application for construction of a bridge over the canal.

Sir,

We, the inhabitants of village Chandina under your union council, have the honour to kind attention to the fact that the big canal running along our village is causing a great suffering to the villagers. They have to cross it everyday. There is not enough water in the canal and so no transportation is possible here. But people have to face a great problem to cross this shallow canal. So the only solution to this serious problem can be the construction of a bridge over the canal.

We, therefore, hope that you would be kind enough to make an immediate arrangement construction of a bridge over the canal to save the people from their untold suffering and oblige thereby.

বিনীত নিবেদন এই যে, আমরা আপনার ইউনিয়নের চান্দিনা গ্রামের অধিবাসী আপনার দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি যে, আমাদের গ্রামের মধ্য দিয়ে বয়ে যাওয়া খাল গ্রামবাসীর জন্য দুর্ভোগ সৃষ্টি করছে। প্রতিদিনই তাদের এটা অতিক্রম করতে হয়। খালে যথেষ্ট পানি না থাকায় এখানে কোনো পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা সম্ভব নয়। কিন্তু জনগণকে এই অগভীর খাল অতিক্রম করতে অনেক সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হতে হয়। খালের উপর একটি সেতু নির্মাণই এই মারাত্মক সমস্যার একমাত্র সমাধান। 

জনাবের নিকট প্রত্যাশা এই যে, আপনি দয়া করে খালের উপর একটি সেতু নির্মাণের তাৎক্ষণিক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করে জনগণকে অবর্ণনীয় দুর্দশা থেকে রক্ষা করে বাধিত করবেন।
